The 2017 Annual REA Excellence Awards consists of 22 Awards across three categories:

 

The Awards will be assessed by a panel of highly qualified judges using a robust framework that ensures the application process is equitable and impartial.

The Award categories that each customer group may enter are:

Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

Residential real estate agents and property managers who are customers of REA Group:

Innovation
  • Game Changer of the Year – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This group Award is designed to highlight how innovation has disrupted established protocols to deliver on a business objective or solve a broader market issue. The term ‘innovation’ relates to any initiative that provides solutions for new or existing business or market needs resulting in commercial gain and/or benefit for the industry or local community.

Service and Marketing Excellence
  • Excellence in Customer Service – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This Award is designed to highlight best practice in customer service, recognising an individual that has delivered measurable and sustainable customer satisfaction for the last 12 months. This category assesses the business benefits associated with effective customer service taking into account the uplift in new, repeat and referred business.

  • Residential Property Campaign of the Year – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This Award is designed to recognise excellence in an individual property marketing campaign, that has creatively leveraged marketing and sales channels to effectively position and differentiate within market. The marketing campaign should demonstrate a measurable result and impact on project or brand.

  • Brand Campaign of the Year – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This group Award recognises companies that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in brand management and delivering a powerful brand message. This could include, but is not limited to, companies who have made a significant change to their brand recall, considerably shifted brand perception in the past 12 months, or a brand campaign that created real impact and achieved outstanding results.

Community
  • Contribution to Community – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This Award is designed to recognise companies and individuals supporting not-for-profit organisations or initiatives in their local community – either through charitable donations or commitment to local community groups and initiatives.

Gold AREA
  • Agency of the Year – Residential Real Estate Agents & Property Managers

This group award is geared towards acknowledging the best in class within the key AREAs award categories of Innovation, Community, Service and Marketing Excellence. If any one category resonates more heavily with your organisation, we recommend you enter that specialist category.

Commercial Real Estate Agents

This Award recognises an outstanding lease or sale campaign that delivered exceptional results for the vendor/s by the marketing agent or agency. The award will consider the process undertaken to develop the marketing proposal to market a commercial space either for sale or for lease, taking into account the final outcome (price/lease per sqm), client satisfaction and how the campaign helped to build the agent/agencies business.

This group Award recognises companies that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in brand management and delivering a powerful brand message. This group Award recognises companies that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that demonstrate excellence in brand management and delivering a powerful brand message.   • Direct Response Campaign of the Year – Media Agencies and Clients

This Award highlights excellence in direct response campaigns. The term ‘direct response’ refers to an advertising campaign designed to target specific audiences and evoke and immediate response/course of action. This may include campaigns that achieved strong results (i.e. CTR, CPA) based on the media products bought, the segmentation used, the flighting etc, based on the objectives of the original brief.

Community
